Job Description

The Community College of Philadelphia’s Division of Workforce Development is seeking a dedicated Massage Therapy Practicum (Bodywork) Instructor to join our instructional team.

The Division of Workforce Development aims to be the preferred training partner for regional businesses and organizations by offering high-quality, non-credit training and continuing education programs that support both current professionals and individuals preparing to enter the workforce.

We are looking for a licensed massage therapy professional who is passionate about student success and understands the diverse backgrounds, needs, and strengths of our student body. The ideal candidate will create an inclusive and respectful learning environment, helping students build the technical knowledge and professional skills required to succeed in the massage therapy industry.

The Massage Therapy Practicum Instructor will deliver supervised practicum courses within the non-credit Massage Therapy Program. Responsibilities include providing hands-on training, mentorship, and evaluation of student performance in both clinical and simulated settings.


Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.

  • Licensed Massage Therapist (PA) required.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed massage therapist.

  • Proven ability to teach and support students of all skill levels.

  • Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations, including under-resourced and first-generation students.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • 3 to 5 years of experience teaching massage therapy, preferably in an educational or community college setting.
