Position Summary

Palm Beach State College is creating an open, continuous pool of qualified adjunct instructors for Massage Therapy. Submitting an application places you in the pool for future openings; it does not guarantee an interview or hire. Departments will hire from the pool on an as-needed basis.

Adjunct instructors teach college students using appropriate pedagogical methods, develop curriculum, assess student learning, participate in program evaluation and department/college activities, and uphold institutional standards.

Work schedules vary by assignment (day/evening/weekend as required).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current State of Florida Massage Therapy license (required).

  • Specialized training / industry certifications plus two years full-time work experience in the field (or equivalent competence).

  • Associate degree or higher desired. Minimum academic preparation should be at the same level as the courses you will teach.

Application Requirements & Notes

  • This is a continuous applicant pool — applications remain active until positions are filled.

  • Transcripts: For adjunct positions, transcripts must be either:

    • An official transcript, or

    • A college-stamped student copy scanned and attached to the online application, or

    • A non-web based unofficial transcript scanned and attached.

    • Web-based transcripts (screenshots or PDFs from student portals) will NOT be accepted.

  • Background check and drug screening may be required depending on the role. Employment is contingent on satisfactory results.

  • Applicants should carefully review minimum qualifications — only those meeting them will be considered.

How to Apply

Prepare the following before you apply: resume/CV, appropriate transcripts (see above), license documentation, and any required certifications. Follow the college’s online application process and attach required documents in PDF or Word format.

Equal Opportunity

Palm Beach State College is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive workplace and encourages applicants from all backgrounds.
