Position Overview
Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) invites applications for Part-Time Faculty to teach Anatomy & Physiology for Massage Professionals in the Department of EPIC. This ongoing pool is designed to identify qualified instructors for in-person, online, or hybrid courses as teaching opportunities become available.
TMCCâs part-time faculty are a vital part of the college community and make a lasting impact on student success. Under the supervision of the Department Chair, adjunct faculty are responsible for teaching course content, assessing student learning, maintaining professional ethics, staying current in their field, and supporting student success through active engagement and professional development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Teach Anatomy & Physiology and related courses such as Pathology or Kinesiology.

Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in accordance with TMCCâs academic standards.

Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes using a variety of methods.

Maintain accurate student records and grades.

Utilize current instructional technologies and refer students to appropriate college resources.

Participate in orientation, workshops, and ongoing professional development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelorâs degree or higher in Health Science, Nursing, Biological Science, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

OR a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) or Certified Personal Trainer with previous college-level teaching experience.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Experience teaching in higher education.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Rate: $1,050 per credit (100â200 level); $1,150 per credit (300â400 level).
