Position Overview
The college invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty – CPD Allied Health Medical Office Professional. Instructors will teach Continuing and Professional Development (CPD) coursework related to Allied Health Medical Office Professional training, including topics such as medical billing, coding, and administrative procedures.
Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed as openings arise. These are not current vacancies. Employment is on an as-needed basis, and instructors are appointed for the duration of their assigned courses.
Teaching assignments may include evening and weekend classes, and courses may be held at any of the college’s campuses or external training locations.
Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction in Medical Office Professional courses within the CPD program.

Provide hands-on learning experiences aligned with industry standards.

Support student success through evaluation, feedback, and mentorship.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current medical office practices and billing procedures.
Required Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience in medical office administration, including basic billing and coding.
Preferred Qualifications

CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification.

Experience in curriculum design and delivery within an adult learning environment.
Salary Information
Salary placement is based on Salary Grade AH in accordance with the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
