Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Adjunct Instructors in Health Information Management to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will bring both professional experience and a passion for teaching to help prepare students for success in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty members are responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and ensuring an engaging learning experience through:

• Planning and organizing instructional materials and methods.

• Aligning coursework with programmatic accreditation requirements (if applicable).

• Facilitating interactive and inclusive classroom and online learning environments.

• Providing individual guidance and academic support to students.

• Evaluating student performance and delivering timely, constructive feedback.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Health Information Management or a related field.

• Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential.

• At least two (2) years of professional experience in Health Information Management or a related healthcare field.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous teaching or training experience in higher education.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to inspire and mentor students from diverse backgrounds.
