Job Summary
The Adjunct Instructor is responsible for ensuring the success of the teaching and learning process in assigned classrooms, labs, or other instructional environments. The instructor will deliver engaging lessons, evaluate student progress, and maintain academic standards consistent with Hill Collegeās mission and values.
Minimum Required Education

Associate degree, certification, or a combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Minimum Required Experience
-
Required: Recent (within the last three years) experience as a Medical Coder.

Preferred:
-
Teaching experience in higher education within the subject area.

Medical training (Registered Nurse or Allied Health background).

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong background in:

Medical Coding (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, HCPCS, CPT)

Anatomy and Physiology

Medical Terminology

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks independently or as part of a team.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and learning management systems (LMS).
