Job Summary
Maintain continued competence in assigned and related areas. Maintain a good working relationship with students, faculty, staff, and community members. Observe college rules/regulations and state guidelines appropriate to faculty responsibilities. Lead instruction in the lab or lecture environment as scheduled or when needed to meet educational requirements.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Instruction in the classroom or skills laboratory for Respiratory Care courses.

Demonstrate safe patient management, professional behavior, and sound judgment.

Maintain equipment and supplies on assigned campuses; ensure labs are neat and organized.

Plan and deliver instructional duties that maximize student learning.

Supervise students per program procedures.
-
Teach courses in accordance with course descriptions and for the full scheduled period.

Assist with recruitment when requested.
-
Attend all scheduled or called faculty meetings unless excused.

Evaluate student progress and achievement using clear, syllabus-based methods.

Submit grade reports and required data by deadlines.

Counsel students as needed and ensure compliance with college and program rules.

Maintain accurate records and demonstrate up-to-date instructional knowledge.

Participate in annual evaluation processes and maintain effective communication with students and staff.

Attend all scheduled labs/clinicals for the full designated period.

Maintain accurate student records and timely grade submissions.

Participate in performance appraisal and instructional observation.

Utilize instructional materials and technologies to enhance learning.

Travel between campuses and clinical sites as needed.
Minimum Qualifications & Education
Required:
-
Associate degree in Science from an accredited institution.

Two (2) years of current technical expertise, knowledge, and experience in Respiratory Care.

Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Science from an accredited institution.
