Job Summary
The responsibilities of this non-tenure track, 12-month Clinical Assistant Faculty position include teaching, mentorship, and service.
The faculty member will:

Provide engaged instruction and support student learning.

Develop curricula using the repository of CoNAH and FDU resources.

Assess student learning outcomes and supervise activities in experiential learning settings.

Advise and support students, maintaining decorum and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, Health Sciences, Education, or a related field.

Clinical and didactic teaching experience.

Responsibilities / Qualifications: Director of BS in Respiratory Care Program
This faculty member will also serve as the Director of the BS in Respiratory Care Program, overseeing the development, implementation, planning, and evaluation of the program to prepare students as professional respiratory therapists.
Administrative Responsibilities Include:

Leading recruitment efforts for the program.

Collaborating on the development of new program tracks.

Representing the interests of the Henry P. Becton College of Nursing and Allied Health to internal and external stakeholders.
Additional Director Requirements
-
Comprehensive understanding of CoARC program requirements and student evaluation standards.

Proven experience in student instruction, clinical education, and mentorship.

Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.

Employment contingent upon satisfactory background check.

Candidates must sign a waiver authorizing the background check and present a Social Security card.
