Position Description
The Astrophysics Group at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for up to two postdoctoral research positions in the group led by Professor Sean Matt.
The group’s research focuses on:

Theoretical modeling of rotation, magnetic activity, and mass loss in Sun-like and low-mass stars
-
Star–environment interactions, including with planets and accretion disks
-
Stellar evolution from the pre-main-sequence to the end of the main sequence
The research team currently includes:
-
1 postdoctoral researcher
-
5 Ph.D. students
-
Several undergraduate research students
Additional opportunities:

Involvement in mentoring, outreach, and departmental activities
Qualifications

Ph.D. in Physics, Astronomy, or a closely related field (must be completed before the start date)

Demonstrated interest or experience in stellar astrophysics, magnetism, rotation, or stellar winds
