Summary:
Widener University invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor of Computer Science, a full-time temporary (non-tenure track) position beginning Fall 2026, with the possibility of renewal. The role reports to the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences.

Essential Duties:

Teach introductory (1stβ2nd year) Computer Science courses for majors and non-majors

Teach upper-level electives, including Assembly Language

Potential to teach introductory mathematics courses

Maintain weekly office hours

Participate in weekly departmental meetings and faculty development activities
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field

Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduates
Preferred Qualifications:
-
2β3 years of college-level teaching experience

Ability to teach Assembly Language, introductory/intermediate CS courses, and Introductory Mathematics
