Position: Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant – Faculty of Education

Description:
The Faculty of Education invites applications for a one-year post-doctoral or senior research position (with possibility of renewal), starting November 1, 2025, or as soon as possible. The role focuses on AI in education, technology-enhanced learning, and learning analytics. The appointee will work closely with the Principal Investigator to support all stages of a large-scale research program, including:

• Research and instrument design

• Data collection, management, and analysis

• Academic publications and dissemination

• Collaboration with schools, professional bodies, and stakeholders

• Preparation of research proposals and administrative support

Qualifications:

• Doctoral or Master’s degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, or related fields

• Expertise in AI in education, learning analytics, and technology-enhanced learning

• Familiarity with advanced statistics and methods such as regression, mixed-effect models, process mining, cluster analysis, or epistemic network analysis

• Strong academic writing in English; Chinese desirable

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
