Position Overview
The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at UTA invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position, with consideration for Associate Professor based on experience and credentials. Key Responsibilities

Develop a significant, externally funded research program

Produce peer-reviewed publications

Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral researchers

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses

Participate in departmental and university service

Demonstrate leadership within professional and technical societies
Required Qualifications

Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related discipline (must be completed before start date)

Postdoctoral or industry research experience is desirable
