Position Overview

The Department of Environmental Studies is seeking a visiting part-time faculty member to teach one section of ENVS 247 โ€“ Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) during the Spring 2026 semester.

  • Expertise in GIS is required.

  • Prior experience teaching GIS is preferred.


Qualifications

  • Strong commitment to undergraduate teaching.

  • Use of inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practices and scholarship.

  • Ph.D. preferred, but not explicitly required.
