Position Summary
Responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in Geography using various teaching formats, including:

On-campus (on-ground)

Online

Hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes
Key Responsibilities

Teach assigned courses using approved delivery formats

Use the College Learning Management System for course materials
-
Submit updated department syllabus before the first day of class
-
Check college email and department mailbox regularly
-
Respond to messages within 48 hours (excluding weekends)
-
Complete required reports such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress, grade submissions, and surveys by deadlines

Submit final grades within the Registrar’s deadline

Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s degree and 18 graduate hours in Geography
Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Geography
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with different instructional delivery modes, including synchronous and asynchronous online teaching

Effective communication and collaborative skills with diverse student, faculty, and staff populations

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Rate of Pay
$650.00 – $740.00 per credit hour
