The Li Group in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at University of Colorado Boulder is seeking postdoctoral researchers to work at the interface of materials science, biomedical engineering, and advanced manufacturing. The position will focus on designing and processing functional biomaterials for healthcare-related challenges. Anticipated start date: January 1, 2026.

Interested Areas:

  • Piezoelectric, ferroelectric, and other mechanoresponsive biomaterials and devices

  • 2D/3D printing and advanced manufacturing: intelligent implants and wearable devices

  • High-throughput synthesis and screening, materials discovery, and AI-driven experimental data analysis

Key responsibilities include conducting research by leading projects and assisting the PI in the development of research proposals.

Required qualifications: Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, chemistry, medicine, physics, or a related field.
