Posting Summary

The Rutgers Business School at Rutgers – Newark and New Brunswick is accepting applications for part-time instructors for the Summer 2025 term (May–August 2025).

Qualified candidates will support the university’s educational mission and the academic objectives of Rutgers Business School, combining learning with enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct or co-instruct courses at graduate and/or undergraduate level (traditional, hybrid, or fully online)

  • Develop course materials (syllabi, presentations, readings, etc.)

  • Provide constructive feedback and academic support to students

  • Respond to student emails/inquiries

  • Follow grade submission policies and deadlines

  • Adhere to university policies and regulations

  • Apply innovative teaching methodologies

Minimum Education & Experience

  • Master’s degree in a related field or relevant industry experience

  • Combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Doctoral degree preferred

  • Prior teaching experience preferred
