The School of Undergraduate Studies invites applications for a pool of Specialists (Non-Tenure Track) for teaching positions. These roles focus on instructional support in developmental education, specifically in mathematics, reading, and writing. Positions are assigned based on instructional need, and there may not be availability every semester.

A full-time teaching load is equivalent to four courses per semester. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, with continued employment dependent on:

• Satisfactory instructional performance

• Ongoing departmental teaching needs

• Budgetary availability

Applicants with experience or interest in course coordination and development, advising, or supporting other departmental functions will receive additional consideration.

This is a security-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in the relevant field of study or a closely related discipline (preferred)

• University-level teaching experience

• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality instruction

• Strong communication skills
