Position Overview
BPCU invites applications for the role of Dual Enrollment Lead – Assistant/Associate Professor of Mathematics, beginning Fall 2026. This full-time faculty position is dedicated to teaching and overseeing instruction within the University’s rapidly expanding Dual Enrollment Program, designed for honors, gifted, and accelerated high school students enrolled in university-level coursework.
Key Responsibilities

Teach university-level mathematics courses to high-achieving secondary students.

Maintain rigorous academic standards while providing developmentally appropriate support.

Drive innovation and growth within BPCU’s early-college initiatives.

Deliver instruction across various modes, including:

On partnering high school campuses

At the BPCU main campus (Mount Vernon)

Through online platforms

Travel to partner high schools is required and reimbursed.
Qualifications
Required
-
Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.

Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in the teaching discipline (or equivalent, per SACSCOC standards).

Demonstrated active Christian faith and ability to integrate biblical perspectives into instruction.

Strong communication and student engagement skills.

Willingness and ability to travel regularly to partner schools.
Preferred
-
Doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or closely related discipline.

Experience teaching honors, gifted, or accelerated students.

Experience in diverse instructional formats (face-to-face, hybrid, and/or online).
