Duties & Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including core PhD-level courses.

Mentor and advise students, supporting academic progress and research development.

Maintain a productive research program, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and seek external funding.

Contribute through departmental, college, university, and community service.

Support collaborative research and innovative student engagement initiatives.
Typical teaching load for research-active faculty:
9 units per academic year (approximately three semester courses).
Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Mathematics or a closely related area at the time of appointment

Strong research record and potential consistent with career stage

Demonstrated excellence and commitment to teaching and outreach
