Position Overview
The Department of Mathematics and Systems Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level.
Research Focus:
Candidates are expected to develop a research program in the mathematical foundations of artificial intelligence and data science, including areas such as:

Probability

Statistical learning theory
-
Theoretical aspects of AI and machine learning
Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field (required).

Preference for candidates with a track record or potential to establish a strong, externally funded research program.

Ability to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels.

Commitment to departmental, college, and university service.
