Position Summary

Teach a 4/4 course load in Mathematics and Statistics.

Maintain an active scholarship/service record.

Participate in monthly division meetings.

Other duties as assigned in conjunction with the division chair.

Qualifications
Minimum:
-
PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
-
At least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics coursework.
Preferred:
-
Experience teaching lower-level Math and Statistics courses.
-
College-level teaching experience at a branch/community college.
-
Experience with diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic student populations.

Familiarity with online teaching platforms.
-
Commitment to understanding New Mexico’s diverse cultures and supporting UNM’s mission.
