Position Summary

• Teach a 4/4 course load in Mathematics and Statistics.

• Maintain an active scholarship/service record.

• Participate in monthly division meetings.

• Other duties as assigned in conjunction with the division chair.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

• At least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics coursework.

Preferred:

• Experience teaching lower-level Math and Statistics courses.

• College-level teaching experience at a branch/community college.

• Experience with diverse socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic student populations.

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms.

• Commitment to understanding New Mexico’s diverse cultures and supporting UNM’s mission.
