Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications for a full-time faculty position in biomedical engineering beginning in Fall 2026. The appointment may be made at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, depending on qualifications and experience. While applications are welcome in all areas of biomedical engineering, candidates with expertise in bioinstrumentation, bioelectronics, embedded systems, and AI applications in medical devices are especially encouraged to apply. Industrial experience is also valued.
Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, or a closely related field by the appointment start date. A Bachelor of Science in biomedical engineering or a related discipline is preferred. Candidates must also be qualified to teach undergraduate integrated lecture/laboratory courses.
The Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering Department (ECBE) at MSOE is recognized for fostering student success and preparing professionals who contribute globally.
