Position Overview

Tenure-track position at Assistant Professor level.

Research focus: Experimental semiconductor microelectronics, preferably including radiation effects in semiconductors.

Responsibilities:

Develop an externally funded research program

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses effectively

Mentor student research
-
Provide departmental, university, and community service

Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Physics
-
At least 1 year of postdoctoral or equivalent professional experience after Ph.D.

Commitment to teaching
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with radiation effects in semiconductors
-
Research interests complementing UNT Center for Microelectronics in Extreme Environments and UNT Ion Beam Laboratory
