Position Overview

  • Tenure-track position at Assistant Professor level.

  • Research focus: Experimental semiconductor microelectronics, preferably including radiation effects in semiconductors.

  • Responsibilities:

    • Develop an externally funded research program

    • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses effectively

    • Mentor student research

    • Provide departmental, university, and community service


Minimum Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Physics

  • At least 1 year of postdoctoral or equivalent professional experience after Ph.D.

  • Commitment to teaching


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with radiation effects in semiconductors

  • Research interests complementing UNT Center for Microelectronics in Extreme Environments and UNT Ion Beam Laboratory
