Position Overview

Teach forensic chemistry and other chemistry courses at both introductory and advanced levels.

Support the forensic chemistry program through curriculum development, advising, internships, and career development.

Build a research program involving undergraduate students.

Participate in departmental, college, and university service, including committees, public outreach, student recruitment, and retention.

Contribute to innovative curriculum delivery using traditional, blended, and online formats.
Minimum Qualifications

Ph.D. in Forensic Chemistry or related chemistry field (Analytical, Biochemistry, Organic, etc.) by August 2026.

Demonstrated potential for undergraduate research mentorship.

Experience teaching at college/university level.

Leadership potential in forensic chemistry programs.

Strong collaboration, communication, and collegiality skills.
