Position Overview

Full-time, non-tenure track teaching position.

Focus on undergraduate education in physics, including lecture and laboratory sections for first- and second-year students.

Potential to teach upper-division electives for junior and senior physics majors.

Participation in weekly departmental faculty meetings and engagement in pedagogical development.

Contributions to research and service are optional but can support promotion to higher teaching ranks.
Minimum Qualifications

Required: Master’s degree in Physics and demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate students.

Preferred: Ph.D. in Physics.

Must be available for in-person instruction and able to supervise lab activities physically.
Duties & Responsibilities
Teaching:

Lead lecture and lab sections for physics majors and non-majors.

Provide academic guidance and maintain office hours.
Departmental Engagement:

Participate in faculty meetings, planning, and student support initiatives.

Support departmental operations and mission alignment.
Secondary Duties:

Other tasks as assigned to support the department, college, or university.
