Position Overview

• Teach undergraduate and graduate physics courses for engineering students.

• Deliver up to 6 classes per academic year (3–4 lecture hours/week + 2 office hours/week).

• Supervise Teaching Assistants for grading and recitations.

• Participate in curriculum development, course evaluations, and committee service.

• No mandatory research, but collaboration with faculty is encouraged.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Physics or related field.

• Native-level English proficiency (native speakers preferred).

• At least 2 years post-PhD teaching experience or as a postdoc/instructor.

• Experience teaching undergraduate/graduate courses in classical mechanics, E&M, quantum mechanics.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer algebra systems and laboratory supervision.

• Teaching or background in mathematics or engineering.

• Familiarity with Chinese culture or prior living experience in China.
