Position Summary

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) seeks multiple outstanding faculty members for up to three full-time lecturer positions starting August 2026.

Lecturers will primarily teach introductory mathematics and/or statistics courses in a face-to-face format. Responsibilities also include departmental and university service and participation in professional development opportunities.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics and/or Statistics.

  • Evidence of excellence in teaching.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching introductory college-level mathematics or statistics courses.
