Position Overview
The Division of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology seeks a full-time Medical Physicist to support clinical operations across multiple UCHealth facilities in the Denver metro area.
Facilities & Equipment:

7 linear accelerators
-
Gamma Knife unit
-
HDR unit
-
4 CT simulators
-
PET/CT simulator
-
Eclipse, ARIA, and EPIC systems
Role:
-
Provide clinical physics support and QA for routine and special procedures: VMAT/IMRT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, HDR/LDR, TBI/TSI, SGRT
-
Linear Accelerator, CT-Sim, HDR, and Treatment Planning QA
-
Participate in teaching and research
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
-
Instructor: Master’s in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, or related field + Board eligibility
-
Senior Instructor: Master’s + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience
-
Assistant Professor: DMP/PhD + Board eligibility + 2 yrs clinical experience
-
Associate Professor: PhD + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience + 2 yrs teaching
Preferred:
-
Experience in clinical radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, treatment planning, functional imaging
-
Strong research and teaching record
Skills:
-
Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team

Strong analytical and computer skills
