  • Senior Instructor: $120,000 – $200,000

Position Overview

The Division of Medical Physics in the Department of Radiation Oncology seeks a full-time Medical Physicist to support clinical operations across multiple UCHealth facilities in the Denver metro area.

Facilities & Equipment:

  • 7 linear accelerators

  • Gamma Knife unit

  • HDR unit

  • 4 CT simulators

  • PET/CT simulator

  • Eclipse, ARIA, and EPIC systems

Role:

  • Provide clinical physics support and QA for routine and special procedures: VMAT/IMRT, IGRT, SRS/SBRT, HDR/LDR, TBI/TSI, SGRT

  • Linear Accelerator, CT-Sim, HDR, and Treatment Planning QA

  • Participate in teaching and research


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Instructor: Master’s in Medical Physics, Physics, Engineering, or related field + Board eligibility

  • Senior Instructor: Master’s + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience

  • Assistant Professor: DMP/PhD + Board eligibility + 2 yrs clinical experience

  • Associate Professor: PhD + Board certification + 5 yrs clinical experience + 2 yrs teaching

Preferred:

  • Experience in clinical radiotherapy, IMRT, IGRT, treatment planning, functional imaging

  • Strong research and teaching record

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Strong analytical and computer skills
