Position Overview
Cornell University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Associate in numerical relativity. The successful candidate will conduct independent research in general relativity, numerical relativity, and computational physics, collaborating with members of the Astrophysics Theory Group.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct independent research in numerical relativity and computational physics

Prepare research papers and reports

Present research findings at scientific conferences

Supervise and mentor graduate students as appropriate
Qualifications & Requirements
Required:
-
Ph.D. in Physics, Astrophysics, or related field

Experience in numerical relativity or computational physics
-
Strong knowledge of general relativity theory

Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate effectively
Preferred:
-
Experience in mentoring or guiding graduate students

Proven track record of publications and conference presentations
