Position Overview
Harvard SEAS seeks a postdoctoral scholar to study how natural dyes and pigments influence the color of foods, focusing on photostability and dispersion challenges. The project combines experimental characterization (spectroscopy, microscopy, light scattering) with modeling of light transport. The candidate will primarily conduct experiments but may also contribute to computational and analytical modeling. The postdoc will report results to the project’s industrial sponsor.
Funding: Through April 30, 2027, with preference for a January 2026 start, though later start dates may be considered.
