Position Overview
The Health Center Adjunct Faculty Doctor supports the mission of preparing chiropractic students and interns to deliver safe, effective, and independent patient care. This role provides hands-on instruction, oversight, and evaluation of interns in all aspects of clinical care, including patient assessment, diagnostics, treatment planning, adjustments, and ancillary procedures.
This position offers the opportunity to mentor the next generation of chiropractors while maintaining high standards of professional practice in the College’s health centers.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise patient care, including history taking, physical exams, diagnostic imaging, chiropractic adjustments, ancillary care, and referrals, ensuring compliance with Nebraska state laws, federal regulations, and Life West policies.

Be available onsite during scheduled hours for clinical oversight, intern assessments, in-class instruction, and participation in the Clinically Inspired Learning program.

Oversee X-ray imaging, Patient Diagnosis and Care Summary (PDCS) documentation, and intern competency assessments.

Participate in Health Center faculty development, meetings, and competency testing.

Teach and assess required clinical skills and competencies following CCE and Life West protocols.

Manage patient care in accordance with Medicare compliance guidelines when applicable.
Minimum Qualifications

Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from a CCE-accredited chiropractic college.

Minimum five years of chiropractic practice experience.

Current chiropractic license in Nebraska and a clear record with the Nebraska State Board.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite; ChiroTouch experience preferred (training provided).

Teaching experience is preferred.
