Job Summary

The CFI Flight Instructor will provide:

• Flight, simulator, and ground instruction in accordance with FAA Part 61 regulations, FAA Airmen’s Information Manual, advisory circulars, airport operations, and EKU policies.

• Student scheduling, training record management, and oversight to ensure course standards and objectives are met for the Private Pilot training course.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma.

• Certificates Required:

  • FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) – Airplane Single Engine.

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate – Airplane Single Engine Land.

• Flight Time: 200+ total hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree.

• Experience: Proficiency in the Cessna 172 or other high-wing, fixed tricycle-gear trainer.
