Jafar A. Alzubi is a professor at Al-Balqa Applied University, School of Engineering, Jordan. Received a Ph.D. degree in Advanced Telecommunications—Computer and Network Security from Swansea University, Swansea, UK (2012). Master of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering from New York Institute of Technology, New York, USA (2005). And a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Electronics and Communications, from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan (2001). Jafar's work and research in a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary environment, focusing on machine learning, classifications, the Internet of Things, wireless sensor networks, network security, and cryptography, have been highly impactful. He has managed and directed several projects funded by the European Union, and his cumulative research experience of over ten years has led to the publication of more than one hundred papers in highly impacted journals. He is currently a senior IEEE member. He holds influential editorial roles, serving as an editor, editorial board member, and reviewer in many prestigious journals in the computer engineering and sciences field. His contributions to these journals further solidify his standing in the academic community.
