Mounir Belloumi is a distinguished Tunisian professor of quantitative methods and applied economics. He obtained his PhD in 2001 from the Faculty of Economics and Management in Tunis. During his career, he has held important leadership positions, notably as dean of IHEC Sousse (University of Sousse) from 2008 to 2011. He currently works as a professor at the University of Najran in Saudi Arabia. His research focuses primarily on energy economics, economic development, and natural resource management in the MENA region. His work is widely cited in fields such as the impact of climate change and environmental efficiency.
